Hello So, right now i'm mining DGB with some NVIDIA gpus (skein algo) and it works just fine. Now i got also some AMD gpus mining DGB (also skein algo) but it loolk like AMD gpus are bad at mining the skein algo. Here some numbers so that you know what i mean: GTX 1080ti: ~1000 MH/s GTX 1080: ~ 700MH/s VEGA 64: ~ 550MH/s (edit january 10 2018: ~650MH/s after some tweaking) As you can see, AMD is not that good at mining with the skein algo. So my question is, what algo and miner should i use to mine DGB with AMD gpu? Thx • • • • •. I've been staking HTML coins for the past week using the console window in the HTML Core Wallet and I have received 4 blocks of 1250 HTML coins in each block (which, from what I understand, is the normal block size now). Today I went to html.mastercalls.io and noticed that it showed some people received the normal block of 1250 HTML coins, but other people received a block of 6250 HTML coins. Also, two recipients received 40000 HTML coins in 1 block and one recipient received 104000 HTML coins in 1 block! How is this possible? All these blocks are from today, January, 12 2018, not months ago when the blocks held a larger amount of coins. Are these actually coins that they bought and that's why they received such a large amount in 1 block, or did they mine these coins and somehow received that many coins in one block by using a mining pool? Are there even mining pools where you can mine HTML coins? How are people receiving 6250 HTML coins in 1 block? Hi there, I've just signed up to the forum, so a new figure around here. The past few days I've been researching about the profitability of mining peercoins. Mining Ethereum seems to be the less profitable option based on online mining calculators. Will it be profitable for 2018/2019? Mining; peercoin. Several mining calculators and platforms like whattomine.com seem to show more or less the same: Mining peercoins as of now is a lot more profitable than mining Bitcoins for example. I'm planning to get two 'Bitmain Antminer S9' machines with about 14TH/s of power. The electricity costs here are due to a special deal really low; about $1500 USD/year for the power needed for a S9. What is your oppinion on that? Do you think mining peercoins makes more sense than mining bitcoins? Will it be profitable for 2018/2019 or will mining get that unimportant to the ecosystem of peercoin through it's special system, that it won't make sense thinking 1-2 years ahead? Estimated Expected Cryptocurrency Earnings The estimated expected cryptocurrency earnings are based on a statistical calculation using the values entered and do not account for difficulty and exchange rate fluctuations, stale/reject/orphan rates, and a pool's efficiency. If you are mining using a pool, the estimated expected cryptocurrency earnings can vary greatly depending on the pool's efficiency, stale/reject/orphan rate, and fees. If you are mining solo, the estimated expected cryptocurrency earnings can vary greatly depending on your luck and stale/reject/orphan rate. This algorithm was especially designed to be as inmuned to ASIC miners as possible; therefore, it is feasible to mine Monero using consumer CPU and GPU hardware. This is one of the big advantages of Monero over Bitcoin;. Sep 8, 2017 - When Bitcoin started it was made so any average person could mine it on their home computer. Currently difficuly is. EternalBlue is a security vulnerability that allowed WannaCry to run rampant in over 150 different countries and took down parts of the National Health Service (NHS), as well as Petya/NonPetya (a strain of ransomware that inspired NATO to assemble an entire cyber operation to combat it). The newest malware continues to capitalize on the vulnerability and in many cases can take over nearly 100 percent of users CPU. Mine ETH on Windows machines using nVidia or AMD graphics cards. Supports OpenCL and CUDA mining on Windows 7, 8, and 10. WinEth is a GUI miner. In conjunction with my How to Mine Ethereum article, this how to guide focuses on setting up and pointing your Ethereum miner(s) to. Dwarfpool is one of the largest Ethereum mining pools due to its Anonymous registration (meaning there is no registration) system, its ability to mine directly to an exchange address, quick payments (multiple times per day once your balance is over 1 ETH), and ability to keep track of your miners via its statistics page. Dwarfpool also serves four different geographic areas with servers located in various data-centers. The currently available servers are: • EU-Server: eth-eu.dwarfpool.com (France) • US-Server: eth-us.dwarfpool.com (Montreal,Canada) • RU-Server: eth-ru.dwarfpool.com (Moscow) • HK-Server: eth-hk.dwarfpool.com (Hong-Kong) To get going it is simply a matter of making some changes to your mining configuration file, often the.bat file you use to launch the mining program. I assume you are here after following my mining guide, so getting right to the point, we will create a file called ethminer-Dwarfpool.bat. You could actually call this anything you want as long as you keep it a batch file (.bat), but it is a good idea to be somewhat specific, especially if you plan to have several files to point to different pools. You create the file by simply right clicking in your eth directory and creating a new text file. Hello So, right now i'm mining DGB with some NVIDIA gpus (skein algo) and it works just fine.
